Hi! I’m Karen!

I’ve been a therapist for over 10 years and I love it! I know it's cliche, but I have always felt like this is my calling in life. I earned my Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology from the University of Denver and I’m licensed in the State of Colorado. I’ve also completed training through Postpartum Support International and 2020 Moms.

Therapist & Mom

I’m not just a therapist. I am also a mother of two. During the first year of my daughter’s life I kept saying to myself, “oh that’s what everyone was talking about. I get it now!” Like holding your baby for the first time or seeing her first smile. But I also know how completely exhausting it can be and how these kids test your patience like nothing else! I know that sometimes that shower might not happen for a few days. I get that “sleeping when the baby sleeps” isn’t always as easy as it sounds (especially with a mountain of laundry sitting there). I also know that postpartum depression is more than just feeling exhausted or sad.

Strengthening our families can change the world.

I am passionate about helping new moms navigating this territory. We need to support one another in this most important role! If you are struggling, please know that with treatment, things can get better-but you have to reach out for help.
